Here’s a piece I did for pre-year12 art homework. I was quite proud of it at the time, and still am a bit. It’s quite an expressive piece. I focused a lot on tone, line and positive and negative space, trying to express the pressure and stress that comes with having so much to do. Here’s the description I gave it when I made it:
“BAM! I call it “The Homework Demon” or “Pretty much my January”. If you look closely you can see the imprint if the 20 pages of psych homework I did on top of it, and a tea stain (I drink a lot of tea when working). It’s a self portrait really. That’s what happens to me when I do homework (that was a joke btw)”
